Return, Refund, and Cancellation Policy

At Sonajhuri Hat, we want you to love your purchase. However, since we are a multi-vendor marketplace featuring unique, often handmade handicrafts, clothing, and jewelry, our policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our independent artisans.
1. Return Window
Customers can request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving the product. Requests made after this 7-day window will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:
The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it.
The item must be in its original packaging with all tags, labels, and certificates of authenticity intact.
Jewelry & Accessories: For hygiene reasons, earrings and nose rings are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged.
Handicraft Disclaimer: Please note that handmade products may have slight irregularities in shape, color, or finish. These are hallmarks of manual craftsmanship and are not considered manufacturing defects.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
Customized or personalized products made specifically to your request.
Items sold during a “Final Sale” or “Clearance.”
Innerwear or specific hygiene-related accessories.
4. The Return Process
Raise a Request: Email us at [Your Support Email] or visit the ‘My Orders’ section on sonajhurihat.com.
Evidence: For damaged or “item not as described” claims, you must provide photos or a short unboxing video.
Pickup: Once approved, we will schedule a reverse pickup. If your area is not serviceable for reverse pickup, you may be asked to ship the item back to the vendor (shipping costs may be reimbursed via store credit).
5. Refunds
Quality Check: Once the vendor receives the returned item and it passes a quality check, your refund will be initiated.
Mode of Refund: Prepaid Orders: Refunded to the original payment method (bank account, card, or wallet) within 5-7 business days.
COD Orders: Refunded via store credit or bank transfer (you will be asked to provide bank details).
Shipping Fees: Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
6. Cancellations
You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placement or until the vendor has dispatched the order, whichever is earlier.
Once an order is “Shipped,” it cannot be cancelled but can be returned as per the policy above.
